It is almost impossible to provide an estimate from
verbal information alone so we will need
all
the details of your proposed job, including vector
files and/or image files if HR engraving is required, before we are able to furnish you with a
quotation.
You may be able to obtain a
guide to costs from the indicated pricing structure below:-
Laser processing time (Cutting & Engraving)
Cutting is calculated from the total of
all line lengths within the drawing file and processing
speed for the given material.
A time allowance is also
calculated for clearing the laser and collating the cut
parts, based on complexity and quantity of small items
that have been cut.
Engraving is calculated from the image
area and the engraving speed for the given material
Laser Cutting and Engraving Charges
Minimum charge - £25.00
Standard Laser Cutting/Engraving Charge - £0.29 per minute
Discounts may be offered for production runs and repeat
orders.
Setup time
No charge applies if the files are setup correctly.
As a matter course, we do make an initial check of your
drawings/artwork to check that there are no errors and
potential problems and this is covered by the minmum
charge.
Anything crucial that may require additional work will
be spotted during this process and you will be informed
before any laser work is commenced.
